Giving

Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church return a faithful tithe (10% of their income) and give regular offerings. We are also thankful for donations from our community and visitors.

Tithes are returned directly to our regional conference, the South England Conference. These are used to support the ministers and workers in our region's churches, schools, campsites and other ministries.

Our offerings, which we give in addition to the tithe, express our gratitude for what Christ has provided. These gifts support a specific department or ministry within our local church and general upkeep of the church. You may also direct your offering to specific causes such as World Mission, Adventist Radio, ADRA or our Church Building Restoration fund.
